GIFT CARDS: TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. These terms and conditions tell you about the legal terms and conditions which apply to your purchase and use of physical and digital Flame Wise Ink tattoo studio gift cards.
2. These gift card terms apply to Flame Wise Ink physical gift cards purchased at the tattoo studio location as well as digital gift cards purchased online through Flame Wise Ink website (www.flamewiseink.ca) or branded social media such as Instagram (@flamewiseink), and Facebook (@flamewiseink).
3. Flame Wise Ink reserves the right to update and change the terms and conditions of our Flame Wise Ink gift cards at any time. This does not affect your legal rights. Use of your Flame Wise Ink tattoo gift card constitutes acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and we therefore recommend you read them carefully. It is your responsibility to check these gift card terms from time to time to ensure you are aware of any changes which may have been made. Flame Wise Ink gift cards remain the property of Flame Wise Ink who maintains the right to cancel the card in its sole discretion in situations where it is deemed necessary to do so (such as to comply with applicable laws or as a result of circumstances beyond its control).
4. The value of your Flame Wise Ink gift card can be redeemed at Flame Wise Ink tattoo studio located in Canada if it is used within the expiry date — one (1) year since the date of purchase.
5. The Flame Wise Ink gift card is non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash in part or full.
Validity
6. Your Flame Wise Ink gift card is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase following which they expire automatically. A gift card cannot be used after the expiry date and any remaining balance will be removed and the card will become invalid and no longer available for use. The expiry date is set on your gift card. We have no obligation to remind you of a gift card’s expiry and it is your sole responsibility to ensure that any balance is used prior to expiry.
7. A Gift Card expires automatically once its balance is fully used. Once the card is fully used, it is going to be stamped as “VOID”. A Gift Card may not be topped up with additional funds in any circumstances. If a gift card is fully used or expired, a new one needs to be purchased.
8. Gift Cards can be used to pay for the tattoo services provided at Flame Wise Ink physical location. Flame Wise Ink minimum tattoo charge is set to $150.00+HST.
9. Gift Card cannot be used to pay the initial deposit of $80.00+HST.
10. Gift Card cannot be used to purchase the aftercare products.
10. Only one (1) gift card can be used per appointment.
11. Gift Card can be purchased and transferred to a member of a family, relative, friend, or acquaintance.
12. Flame Wise Ink have the right to decline the use of the gift card if a staff member was not able to verify the validity of it.
Lost/Stolen/Damaged
13. You are solely responsible for the safe keeping and security of your gift card following the purchase of it at Flame Wise Ink. In cases where your Flame Wise Ink gift card is lost, stolen or damaged, Flame Wise Ink is only able to replace or reimburse the paid balance on a card if the unique card number is saved and matches our records. All Flame Wise Ink gift cards have a unique card number hidden on the back of the card, which is required for purchases. Flame Wise Ink cannot be held responsible for any unauthorized use where the card number have become known to another party.
Governing Law & Jurisdiction
14. These conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario: https://www.ontario.ca/page/buying-or-using-gift-cards. You agree, as we do, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Canadian courts.
