Tattoo Styles Part 2
Hello, tattoo Family! In the previous blog post we explained 3 tattoo styles. If you didn’t find the style you are interested in, Flame Wise Ink prepared more for this part. Let’s get started!
This style is extremely symbolic. There are certain designs that fit within this style. For example, dragons, geishas, specific flowers and koi fishes are part of this style. Such tattoos will have some specific themes with mythological symbols that demonstrate this style.
Many people faced illustrative paintings and other elements in their lives at least once. It can be animated cartoons, comics, books for children, art galleries and others. So, we have a rough idea of what it would look like. Normally, such tattoos are made in black colours, but lots of our clients prefer colourful tattoos. Moreover, illustrative ones can be made both with bold and fine lines.
We just discussed what the illustrative one is. Let’s cover this one. This style is done in the old-school style. We are all familiar with roses, skulls, eagles, daggers, butterflies etc. Normally, such tattoos are made with bold lines and rich colors such as black, red, green and blue. If you are looking for a tattoo that will look like a patch, this style will suit you best.
Neo Traditional Style
Yes, Neo Traditional style has more saturated modern colours than a traditional one, however it is not the only difference from Traditional style. To begin with, this style does come from the old-school one, but Neo style is very different from it. As you can see, such tattoos have smoother transitions from one colour to another and darker shading.
